New University Law Must Protect Academic Freedom, Says Deputy Minister Adam Adli
Malaysia's Deputy Higher Education Minister Adam Adli Abd Halim has stressed that any new legal framework replacing the repealed Universities and University Colleges Act must genuinely enhance academic freedom and university autonomy, not simply recreate past restrictions.
