Malaysia Escalates War on Synthetic Drugs with Enhanced Technology and Legal Reforms
Malaysia's Home Ministry is intensifying efforts against synthetic drugs, reporting 238,704 arrests between 2023 and mid-2026. The government plans to amend drug legislation and deploy advanced surveillance technology to combat trafficking of methamphetamine, fentanyl and psychoactive substances.
