Dutch PM apologises to Moluccans for decades of broken promises and neglect
Dutch Prime Minister Rob Jetten has issued a formal state apology to the Moluccan community for systematic mistreatment spanning decades. Around 12,500 Moluccans were brought to the Netherlands after Indonesia's 1949 independence, promised temporary stay but abandoned in poor conditions.
