Former Sports Commissioner Datuk Zaiton Othman has cautioned Malaysia Athletics that persistent governance lapses could trigger World Athletics sanctions, jeopardising the nation's ability to host athletics at the 2027 SEA Games and limiting athlete participation in international competitions.
