Government Pledges RM1 Million to Support Press Freedom and Journalist Welfare Through Hawana Initiative
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim has committed RM1 million to Tabung Kasih@Hawana 2026, a welfare fund designed to support journalists and advance media sector reforms across Malaysia.
